Electrostatic filters are extremely low-maintenance, as the ionizer and collector cells require no wear parts. However, depending on the amount of contaminants filtered, the collector cells can become clogged with dirt particles over time. Therefore, routine cleaning is essential to ensure consistently high filter performance.
The specialized service technicians at me-Filtertechnik can provide you with replacement ionizer and collector cells as needed, while the original cells are cleaned using ultrasonic technology and high pressure. This procedure minimizes disruption to your production schedule.

Filtermist recommends servicing its oil mist separators every 2,000 operating hours. The me-Filtertechnik CleanService includes disassembling the Filtermist unit, thoroughly cleaning the drum and outer housing to reliably remove all residues and deposits, and a comprehensive visual inspection of all parts for signs of wear. Furthermore, the unit is fitted with new AV brackets and new insulation and filter elements before reassembly and installation.
Before the technician leaves the site, a thorough check is also performed to ensure the entire extraction system is functioning correctly.
